Description

Disultrim is a powerful broad spectrum bactericidal combination of Trimethoprim and sulphamethoxazole which acts synergistically to efficiently eliminate both gram-positive and gram-negative bacterial infections. Effective against Multi drug resistance bacterial infections

Composition

Sulphamethoxazole: B.P 10% w/w

Trimethoprim: B.P 2% w/w

Unique Property

Disultrim (Sulphamethoxazole and Trimethoprim) causes sequential blockage of folate synthesis resulting in a synergistic broad spectrum anti-bacterial and anti-protozoal effect and a reduced rate of bacterial resistance.

Indications

For the treatment of:

• Fowl Cholera
• Pneumonia
• Necrotic enteritis
• Infectious coryza
• Multi-drug resistance bacterial infections

Dosage

Chick: 0.5gm per litre of water for 4-7 days

Adults: 1gm per litre of water for 4-7 days

Withdrawal

• 5 days for Eggs and Meat
